A new chapter is beginning for Maximilian, Anastasia and Katharina: at the beginning of September, the three started their training as industrial management assistants at BOSIG GmbH in Gingen. Over the next three years, they will get to know the company from a variety of perspectives and gain practical experience in almost every area of the business.
The first few days are all about settling in and getting to know the company. Following their introduction, the new apprentices first head to where BOSIG products are made: the production department. Here, Maximilian, Anastasia and Katharina learn about the products, materials and processes that will provide the foundation for the rest of their commercial training.
Afterwards, the three will regularly rotate between departments. During their training, they will gain experience in areas including warehousing, purchasing, sales, accounting and marketing. In doing so, they will not only learn about the responsibilities of each department, but also gain an understanding of how the different areas of an industrial company work together.
Vocational training is a high priority at BOSIG. Every year, the company trains young people and, alongside commercial knowledge, provides them with insights into the technical and operational processes of a manufacturing company.
“Starting an apprenticeship marks the beginning of a new chapter in a young person’s life. It is important to us that our apprentices get to know the company as a whole, take on responsibility and have the opportunity to contribute their own ideas. We are delighted to support Maximilian, Anastasia and Katharina on their journey,” says Sandrine Schulz, Training Manager at BOSIG GmbH.
For Harry Leichmann, Managing Director of BOSIG GmbH, vocational training is also a personal commitment that extends beyond the company itself. For many years, he has volunteered as an examiner for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, contributing his professional experience to the training and development of young people.
In addition to industrial management assistants, BOSIG also trains e-commerce management assistants and warehouse logistics specialists. Depending on the occupation, the training programme generally lasts three years. During this time, apprentices gradually take on their own responsibilities and contribute to various departments and projects.
