In this dynamic environment, BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH has reached another milestone: The Phonotherm® base profile and angle have received the coveted certification as "Certified Passive House Components" by the renowned Passive House Institute.
Passive houses are characterised by their exceptional energy savings, which are made possible by the use of particularly energy-efficient components. The Passive House Institute tests and certifies components that are suitable for the construction of Passive Houses. This certification is carried out according to strict, uniform criteria to ensure that the certified products are of superior energy performance. For planners, the use of these certified components makes the task much easier and ensures that the resulting passive house achieves its high energy efficiency.
Our Phonotherm® basic profiles and angles have been specially tested for the cool-temperate climate zone and have received the Passive House certificate in the category "Window Mounting Systems". This certification not only confirms the high energy efficiency of our products, but also their suitability to reduce built-in thermal bridges and ensure thermally improved window installation. The certified components are listed in the component database of the Passive House Institute and can be easily integrated into the Passive House planning tool PHPP (Passive House Project Planning Package). This makes it easier for architects and specialist planners to plan and implement energy-efficient construction projects and also supports the submission of passive house certificates for funding programmes such as KfW.
