What actually happened to our printer cartridge donation campaign?

Dear business partners,

in order to give our empty printer cartridges an added value, we decided in summer 2020 to become part of the free collection system of Cartridge - Space GmbH. In doing so, we not only support the idea of sustainability, but also promote a very special project at the same time:

Cartridge - Space GmbH offers companies and private individuals the opportunity to "dispose of" empty toner cartridges and ink cartridges in an uncomplicated way in the form of a donation for reprocessing. The equivalent value of each empty toner cartridge and ink cartridge is donated to the Elterninitiative für krebskranke Kinder Jena e.V. (parents' initiative for children with cancer).

Now almost two years have passed. During this time we were able to collect nine collection boxes with approx. 330 printer cartridges through the internal consumption of all three BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH locations and through our business partners who became aware of our printer cartridge donation campaign.

After collecting these collection boxes four weeks ago, we are pleased to announce that together we were able to achieve a donation of 250.85 €. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your active support.

Of course, we will continue to pursue the goal of collecting our empty printer cartridges for a good cause in the future. We would like to take this opportunity to motivate you once again to become part of our free collection system and to hand in your empty toner cartridges to us at BOSIG Baukunststoffe GmbH at the Elsterwerda, Bad Liebenwerda and Berlin-Marzahn sites. We would like to draw your attention once again to what may be collected:

• all original toner cartridges and drum units from the original manufacturers: brother, Canon, EPSON, hp, Kyocera, Lexmark, OKI, Samsung, RICOH, etc.
• all original and non-original ink cartridges
  mobile phones from the original manufacturers: Apple, HTC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung, Huawei, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Vodafone, etc.
• cable scrap (power cables, printer cables, household cables, power supply cables, PC cables, ribbon cables, telephone cables, mixing cables, installation cables, etc.)
• CDs, DVDs, Blue-ray`s in any quality (broken, crushed, scratched, shredded, etc.)

ATTENTION: For non-listed printer cartridges, disposal fees will be charged, which will be deducted from the donation. The same applies to cable scrap with power supplies, transformers or other devices attached. We ask you to take this into account.
