BOSIG is transitioning its entire product range to Basotect® EcoBalanced
In future, we will exclusively supply melamine resin foam based on Basotect® EcoBalanced*. This means that a material variant manufactured using sustainably certified biomass* will replace the previous standard Basotect® grade.
Our heart for "Nach-hall-tigkeit"*** means improvement without compromise:
***A German play on words combining reverberation ("Nachhall") and sustainability ("Nachhaltigkeit").
The transition of our entire melamine resin foam product range to Basotect® EcoBalanced is not a compromise, but a significant step forward. For the production of this material, fossil raw materials are completely replaced by sustainably certified biomass*.
This transition forms part of a long-term sustainability strategy. BOSIG is focusing on innovative materials and energy-efficient processes to reduce product-related CO₂ emissions while maintaining the same high level of technical performance.
The further processing of the Basotect® EcoBalanced base material at BOSIG’s production facilities is carried out using 100% electricity from renewable energy sources, comprising both on-site photovoltaic power generation and purchased renewable electricity. This contributes to the reduction of production-related CO₂ emissions.
