Soundproofing for production halls
Noise in production halls and industrial facilities disrupts work, increases the risk of accidents and makes communication difficult. BOSIG GmbH, based in Gingen an der Fils, and BOSIG’s trading partners offer bespoke acoustic solutions made from foam materials, such as sound absorbers and acoustic panels, which have been specially developed for industrial applications. These products lower noise levels, reduce reverberation times and optimise room acoustics in halls, workshops and production facilities.
Furthermore, targeted noise control measures not only ensure a quieter environment but also more efficient processes: an improved acoustic environment enhances concentration, facilitates communication and actively contributes to the health and safety of employees.
In Germany, the TA Lärm (Technical Instructions on Noise Protection) and the Noise and Vibration Occupational Safety and Health Regulation set out the requirements. The TA Lärm stipulates immission guideline values: 70 dB(A) day/night in industrial areas, 65/50 dB(A) in commercial areas. In occupational safety, the trigger value is 80 dB(A) as a daily average (8 hours); technical measures are mandatory from 85 dB(A) upwards. BOSIG solutions provide targeted assistance in complying with these limits – for example, through reverberation reduction in halls or insulation fitted directly to machinery.
The range includes robust sound absorbers and acoustic elements for walls and ceilings, specifically designed for demanding production environments. These are complemented by acoustic baffles, machine enclosures and foam materials, which, in addition to sound insulation, also perform functions such as sealing, de-reverberation and vibration damping. The materials are characterised by high mechanical strength, resistance to ageing and durability, and are optimally tailored to industrial requirements.
Particularly practical: the elements can be customised in colour to enhance industrial halls not only functionally but also visually. In this way, BOSIG combines technical efficiency with modern interior design.
BOSIG and its trading partners analyse spatial conditions directly on site and develop tailor-made spatial concepts that integrate seamlessly
Industrial environments are acoustically challenging: machinery, ventilation systems, production and conveyor lines, and presses can generate extremely high noise levels. BOSIG offers the right solution for every requirement.
