ALUFLEX® es is the optical solution for tight connections to chimneys, walls and other rising building components. The sealing tape ensures continuous rainproofing and durability on all roof constructions.
The composition of profiled aluminium or copper with a full-surface coating of butyl rubber adhesive enables fast and lasting adhesion. In the "es series", the previously used aluminium foil is replaced by an aluminium-plastic composite foil. This is characterised by high resistance to corrosion and weathering, is extremely tear-resistant and at the same time extremely flexible and very easy to adapt to the roof contours. The excellent formability of the material in combination with the self-adhesive back also favours fast and uncomplicated processing and realises an individual, contour-precise installation to the roof course.
ALUFLEX® es has two pre-determined folding points, approximately 35 and 115 mm from the edge. This asymmetrical preparation of the material permits optimal attachment after the required material has been cut to size. For easier application, the adhesive coating is covered with a tear-resistant, split and overlapping plastic foil.
This makes ALUFLEX® es particularly suitable for all small-format, corrugated roofing materials and highly structured substrates. Due to the corrugation of the aluminium, it is possible to follow the roof corrugation at the lower and upper connections of rising components in the roof area.
