Fasatan® ES / Fasatyl® ES

The sealing membranes Fasatan® ES and Fasatyl® ES offer you the following advantages:

Fasatan® ES waterproofing membranes are approved for use in ground-contact waterproofing in accordance with DIN 18533 for the following water exposure classes, from a membrane thickness of 0.8 mm.

• W1-E: Ground moisture and non-pressing water (sealing of areas in contact with soil).
• W2.1-E: Moderate exposure to pressing water (≤ 3 m immersion depth).
• W3-E: Non-pressing water on earth-covered slabs (not trafficable).
• W4-E: Capillary water in and under walls.

Fasatan® ES is ideal for sealing external door thresholds in ground-contact areas. Perimeter insulation can be applied easily, and connection to existing on-site waterproofing systems (e.g. thick bitumen coatings or liquid-applied membranes) is straightforward.

Field of application

EPDM membranes from the BOSIG Fasatan® / Fasatyl® product range are used for structural waterproofing. 

Fasatan® ES and Fasatyl® ES are suitable for use in façade applications as well as in areas where a high level of protection against moisture is required. The membranes are available in various thicknesses and versions, allowing flexible use in a wide range of construction projects.

Fasatan® ES and Fasatyl® ES are specially fabricated for the following applications:

• in curtain wall and ventilated façade systems, from the parapet down to the façade base
• as sealing beneath the window sill (water-bearing level)
• as threshold sealing for floor-to-ceiling windows and doors (patio doors, balcony doors, external doors) for connection to the on-site waterproofing
• for sealing window parapets, connecting window and door frames to the building structure, as a connection of door thresholds to the building structure, and vertical sealing of the building plinth/base with connection to the floor slab
• especially in timber construction for sealing external wall sills to floor slabs (vertical).
