Fasatan® and Fasatyl® are sealing films made from EPDM rubber for sealing in the entire façade.
With a minimum film thickness of 0.8 mm, Fasatan® is suitable for sealing against pressurized water in accordance with water impact class W2.1-E up to a water depth of 3.0 metres.
The sealing membranes are available in various thicknesses - standard thickness 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 mm - and in widths from 50 mm to 1500 mm according to customer requirements.
Bonding takes place using our tried and tested single-component, paste-like, solvent-free adhesive from the Fasatan® TFS tubular bag or using our Fasatan® TFU on all standard building substrates, including solvent-sensitive ones such as polystyrene and other insulating materials or bituminous substrates. The inner sealing must provide a higher vapour diffusion-tightness than the outer sealing. Fasatan® should therefore be used for the outer sealing and Fasatyl® for the inner sealing.
Fasatan® has a green roll core and Fasatyl® has a red roll core for recognition purposes.
The EPDM membranes Fasatan® 0.8, Fasatan® 1.0 and Fasatan® strong (1.2 mm) are, regardless of the substrate, suitable for use in combination with our various adhesive systems or mechanical fastenings, as Fasatan Standard Fasatan®, as Fasatan® Fix System with butyl coatings or as Fasatan® Keder system with various keder profiles for the installation of single-layer structural sealing in accordance with DIN 18533 for water impact classes W1.1-E, W1.2-E, W2.1-E, W3-E, W4-E. A general type approval from the DIBT is available for Fasatan® versions in the non-standard thicknesses of 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm.
The Fasatan® sealing membrane with a thickness of 0.8 mm or more can be used as a vertical structural sealing membrane or as a horizontal wall damp course without shear force transmission (MSB-nQ) in accordance with the following water impact classes according to DIN 18533-1 and DIN 18533-2:
EPDM films from the BOSIG Fasatan® / Fasatyl® product series are used for sealing structures and the base of building, such as windows, exterior doors, façades, building plinths, thresholds and for flood protection in the case of ventilated façades,
