Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced is a panel-shaped broadband absorber made of open-cell melamine resin foam designed to improve room acoustics. The material absorbs sound particularly effectively in the mid- and high-frequency ranges and, when used correctly, can help reduce reverberation times and sound levels. Compared with the previous standard version, the EcoBalanced version has a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) that is up to 50% lower, combining acoustic performance with more resource-efficient production.
Noiseflex® MH EcoBalanced has a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)* that is up to 50 per cent lower than that of the standard variants. This is achieved through the consistent application of two control mechanisms:

Effective sound absorption contributes to improved room acoustics in a wide range of applications. Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced consists of panel-shaped broadband absorbers based on the open-cell melamine resin foam Noiseflex® MH EcoBalanced. The material absorbs sound particularly effectively in the mid- and high-frequency ranges and, when used correctly, can help reduce reverberation times and sound levels.
The fine, three-dimensional network structure of the melamine resin foam combines high sound absorption with low weight. This makes Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced suitable for a wide range of acoustic applications in interior spaces as well as technical environments.
Typical applications include:
Selected versions of Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 - Certificate No. 20.0.08016 Hohenstein. We will be happy to provide the relevant certificate upon request.
Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced is a high-quality broadband absorber made of open-cell melamine resin foam with a fine network structure. The material combines very high sound absorption with an extremely low weight and is particularly suitable for optimising room acoustics in a wide range of indoor environments.
The acoustic panels are available as standard in dimensions of 1000 × 500 mm and thicknesses ranging from 20 to 100 mm. Other dimensions can be manufactured to customer specifications upon request. The available colours are white, grey and anthracite (Dark). Self-adhesive versions and composite systems, for example with a nonwoven facing or heavy barrier foil, are also available.
Depending on the material thickness, sound absorption classes up to Class A according to DIN EN ISO 11654 can be achieved. From a panel thickness of 60 mm, the highest sound absorption class, Class A, is achieved with a weighted sound absorption coefficient of αw = 0.95. This makes Noiseflex® Classic MH EcoBalanced an excellent choice for demanding acoustic applications.
For bonding to walls and ceilings, BOSIG recommends BOSIG Acoustic Adhesive or, for convenient installation, the self-adhesive version. Before installation, the panels should be allowed to acclimatise for 3 to 5 days under the conditions of their intended environment to prevent material-related dimensional changes.
