Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced

Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced

Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced is a convoluted broadband absorber made of open-cell melamine resin foam designed to improve room acoustics. The material absorbs sound particularly effectively in the mid- and high-frequency ranges and, when used correctly, can help reduce reverberation times and sound levels.

Compared with the standard version, the EcoBalanced version has a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) that is up to 50% lower, combining acoustic performance with more resource-efficient production.

This is achieved through the consistent application of two control mechanisms:

  • Noiseflex® MH EcoBalanced is manufactured in a resource-optimised process using renewable energy.* Fossil raw materials are completely replaced by sustainably certified biomass.*
  • Furthermore, the processing of the base materials at BOSIG is powered 100 per cent by electricity from renewable energy sources, comprising a proportion generated by the company’s own photovoltaic systems and electricity purchased from renewable energy sources, in order to reduce production-related CO₂ emissions.**

Customer benefits

  • Can contribute to improved room acoustics.
  • Can reduce reverberation times and sound levels, particularly in the mid- and high-frequency ranges.
  • The profiled surface design is suitable for acoustically effective wall and ceiling coverings.
  • The low weight facilitates transport and installation.
  • Various versions and an optional self-adhesive coating allow selection according to the specific application. Also available painted (please note: the fire behaviour changes with these finishes).
  • Thanks to its flame-retardant properties, the material is also suitable for demanding interior applications – building material class B1 according to DIN 4102-1.
  • Emissions tested in accordance with the AgBB scheme. Emission values from test chamber testing confirm that the material is safe.
  • The EcoBalanced version reduces the Product Carbon Footprint by up to 50% compared with the standard versions.

Field of application

Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced is suitable for applications where reverberation needs to be reduced and room acoustics improved. The material absorbs sound particularly effectively in the mid- and high-frequency ranges and, when used correctly, can help reduce reverberation times and sound levels.

Typical applications include:

  • Recording studios
  • Hi-Fi and home cinema areas
  • Open-plan offices
  • Production facilities and workshops
  • Event venues
  • Meeting rooms
  • Public buildings

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification is available for selected colour variants - Certificate No. 20.0.08016 Hohenstein. We will be happy to provide the relevant certificate upon request.

Product Information

Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced is made of a flexible, open-cell melamine resin foam with a fine, three-dimensional network structure. The material combines high sound absorption with low weight and is used to improve room acoustics in a wide range of indoor environments.

Noiseflex® La Ola MH EcoBalanced is available as standard in white, grey and anthracite (Dark). Standard dimensions are 1000 × 500 mm with heights of 30 mm or 50 mm. Self-adhesive versions and other dimensions are also available upon request.

For full-surface bonding to walls and ceilings, BOSIG recommends BOSIG Acoustic Adhesive, or, for easier installation, the self-adhesive version. For an attractive visual finish, a shadow gap of 10 to 20 mm between the elements is recommended. Production-related cuts on the reverse side may occur due to the material properties of the melamine resin foam and do not constitute a quality defect.

Property Data Notes
Standard dimensions 1000 × 500 mm in thicknesses of 30 | 50 mm special dimensions are available on request.
