Noiseflex® La Ola PU is an open-cell, convoluted sound absorber made from flexible polyurethane foam for the effective reduction of airborne sound and reverberation. Its characteristic surface profile increases the acoustically effective surface area, thereby improving sound absorption and creating pleasant room acoustics.
The sound absorber is suitable for a wide range of applications in mechanical engineering, vehicle manufacturing and plant engineering, as well as for technical enclosures and linings. In combination with a bitumen layer, Noiseflex® La Ola PU can also help to reduce structure-borne sound in addition to absorbing airborne sound.
Noiseflex® La Ola PU combines effective sound absorption with a robust and versatile foam grade. The convoluted surface increases the acoustically effective surface area while giving the sound absorber a distinctive technical appearance.
Noiseflex® La Ola PU 18
Noiseflex® La Ola PU 25
Noiseflex® La Ola PU is available as standard in a size of 1000 × 500 mm and is manufactured in material thicknesses of 20, 30, 40, 50, 70 and 100 mm. Other dimensions and versions are available on request.
Depending on the application, Noiseflex® La Ola PU can be supplied uncoated, with a self-adhesive backing, or as a composite element with a bitumen layer and self-adhesive backing. The Noiseflex® Panino version with a heavy bitumen layer is particularly suitable for applications where structure-borne sound reduction is required in addition to airborne sound absorption.
Noiseflex® La Ola PU is available in two material grades. Neither CFCs nor solvents are used in the manufacturing process.
Noiseflex® La Ola PU 18
PU 18 is a cost-effective, open-cell flexible polyurethane foam of the polyester type. This lightweight foam grade is particularly suitable for linings and coverings, for example in metal cassettes, machine covers or acoustic pipe insulation.
Noiseflex® La Ola PU 25
PU 25 is a high-quality open-cell flexible polyurethane foam with increased compressive strength and good resistance to weathering. With a burning rate of < 100 mm/min in accordance with FMVSS 302, this version is particularly suitable for demanding applications in mechanical engineering and vehicle manufacturing, as well as for full and partial enclosures.
