Establishment of an internal reporting office and definition of reporting channels

The law for better protection of whistleblowers (Whistleblower Protection Act, hereinafter “the law”) was published in the Federal Law Gazette on June 2, 2023, and came into force on July 2, 2023. Access to the wording of the law and its individual provisions can be found at:

With this information, BOSIG GmbH is fulfilling the obligation to announce its whistleblowing procedures at the company locations and on the website.

The task of an internal reporting office (hereinafter “internal reporting office”) will be taken on by

in accordance with Section 12 Paragraph 1 of the law.

The internal reporting office takes on this task for BOSIG GmbH.

The internal reporting office operates the following reporting channels for the employer, as per Section 16 of the law:

1. Whistleblower Protection Act website entry with the option to submit a report openly or anonymously via a contact form (“Whistleblower”) or by telephone. This reporting channel is operated via an external service provider who handles every report in accordance with the provisions of the law.

2. Email to Hinweisgebergesetz@bosig.de: emails received there can only be read by employees of the internal reporting office in the Konle law firm.

In accordance with Section 13 Paragraph 2 of the law, we would like to point out that external reporting offices have been set up at the Federal Office of Justice, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and the Federal Cartel Office. We suggest that you first use an internal reporting office.

The establishment of the reporting office and reporting channels ensures that BOSIG GmbH meets the requirements of the law.

Misuse of these channels is subject to criminal law. We would like to point out that if this situation arises, we would exercise our right to file a criminal complaint if the whistleblower were to do so.
