Punching

Separation process by stroke

Processing Method

The term "punching" refers to the separation process in which a material is cut by a tool on a punching machine.

By means of a corresponding punching tool, several shapes in the part are created with a single stroke, for example round holes or rectangular cuts.

Punching is particularly worthwhile for high volume orders, as the time required with this processing method is significantly less than with newer technologies.
