Fasatan® and Fasatyl® - Films for every application!

These EPDM films are resistant to both chemicals and alkalis. They also offer an excellent mechanical robustness. They are resistant to any type of concrete, mortar, screed, plaster or cement. These sealing films are also available in plasterable versions.

Fasatan®: Walk at green!

Fasatan® EPDM sealing film is suitable for seals in outdoor areas, as it breathes and is water-vapour permeable. This means that moisture can escape from the façade.

Fasatyl®: Stop at red!

Fasatyl® EPDM sealing film is suitable for seals in inner cover areas, as it is sealed against water vapour.

Fasatan® the outdoor hero!

The German Institute for Structural Engineering (Deutsches Institut for Bautechnik - DIBt) general type approvals for Fasatan® from a minimum thickness of 0.8 mm for horizontal and vertical seals in contact with the ground confirm its outstanding quality and functionality.

Seal work in areas up to and including water pressures up to a depth of 3m can be tested with Fasatan® 0.8 and 1.0 and carried out using Fasatan® strong in compliance with standard specifications. And this is possible without restrictions throughout Germany, without having to take into account any particularities in individual Federal States!"

Film thicknesses 0.6; 0.8; 1.0 mm:

• for façade areas,
• particularly suitable for curtain-type and rear-ventilated façades,
• and also very good as a water-supporting layer.

Film thicknesses 0.8; 1.0; 1.2 mm:

• Can be used as vertical seals in areas in contact with the ground (DIN 18533) for the various water exposure classes,
• Ideal as a base and threshold seal between a cellar floor plate and wall, door and window elements and floor plates,
• As a wall damp course in accordance with EN14909,
• Suitable as an interface seal in or under walls against rising damp.

System installation

The use of a variety of bonding systems allows the EPDM sealing film to be installed in the most suitable way for the respective application, including:

• Butyl adhesive strips, compatible with all frame and element materials,
• Tube bag adhesive systems, which are compatible with all common construction substrates including bitumen substrates and a variety of liquid sealing systems,
• Full-surface self-adhesive coating for the façade area, which creates a rapid, clean, reliable and above all cost-effective seal between façade elements and the foundation,
• Keder attachment system, for commonly used façade systems to clip onto the dedicated groove on the aluminium profile, extremely simple and time-saving.
