Cellular Rubber EPDM

Cellular rubber made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber) is a closed-cell, elastic material that is characterised by its excellent resistance to weathering, UV and ozone. The material is extremely resistant to moisture, ageing and a wide range of chemical influences. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, EPDM cellular rubber is impermeable to water and air. EPDM is an ideal material for sealing applications.

Key properties:

  1. Very good resistance to weathering and ozone
  2. Temperature-resistant from approx. -40 °C to +100 °C (depending on material type)
  3. Good elasticity and dimensional stability
  4. Low water absorption
  5. Good electrical insulation properties

Fields of application:

EPDM cellular rubber is widely used in construction, vehicle construction, the electrical industry and in ventilation and air conditioning technology. Typical applications include seals, sound and vibration insulation, insulating materials and seals against dust, water and draughts.

In addition to cellular rubber EPDM, we also offer other cellular rubber materials for various applications.
